Bringing joy to young people in need!
The Western Bulldogs, in partnership with The Salvation Army and Lumo Energy, provided a group of young people from The Salvation Army’s Westcare the opportunity to be part of the Guard of Honour at the Western Bulldogs vs Melbourne game on Sunday 18 June.
Westcare cares for young people who are unable to live with their families for a range of reasons. By organising this day, Lumo Energy and the Bulldogs have brought joy to these young people.
On Sunday 18 June, the young people had the pleasure of taking part in the Guard of Honour where they were able to get up close and cheer on the players as they entered the ground and ran through the Bulldogs banner, before taking their seats to watch the game. All enjoyed themselves immensely and will hold on to these positive memories for many years to come.
