A great place to start and to orientate yourself is from the city’s highest viewpoint, Sydney Tower, located in the CBD.  On a clear day you’ll experience spectacular 360 degree panoramic views of Sydney and the Harbour.  Exit the tower and head along Market Street, one of Sydney’s core shopping hubs, where you’ll find a great range of Australian and overseas products.

Then explore the beautiful Royal Botanic Gardens with its individual gardens emphasising a different area of the world, you’ll also catch glimpses of the Harbour Bridge and Opera House.

Circular Quay is the hub of Sydney and great to explore, with its walkways, pedestrian malls and parks. This is a great spot to have lunch.  East Circular Quay is where you can catch a ferry to explore the harbour and enjoy excellent views of the iconic Opera House, Harbour Bridge, Taronga Zoo, Manly and more.  After a day of exploring, Darling Harbour is divine for dinner and drinks.
