NSW bushfires - we're here to help

Bushfires are currently taking their toll on numerous towns and cities in New South Wales, with hundreds of homes lost and many people displaced. Lumo Energy is here to help, however we can.

Your safety is most important so remember to stay well clear of fallen power lines and phone your local distributor to report lines down or other dangerous situations:

  • Hunter regions, Sydney and Central Coast: Endeavour Energy on 131 003
  • Greater Western Sydney, Illawara and the Southern Highlands: Ausgrid (formerly Energy Australia) on 13 13 88
  • All other areas: Essential Energy (formerly Country Energy) on 13 20 80
Gas has also been disconnected from some properties in affected areas. If a ‘Danger Tag’ has been placed on a gas meter, do not remove the tag and leave the control valve turned off. Further information on gas is available from the gas network status page of the Jemena website.
