Lumo Energy enters gas transportation agreement with APA Group

Lumo Energy has entered into a new gas transportation agreement with APA Group, Australia's largest natural gas infrastructure business, for five and a half years from 2015.

"This agreement provides increased capability and flexibility to Lumo Energy's gas portfolio through storage and transportation services, supporting our continued customer growth in the NSW gas market," said Lumo Energy General Manager Wholesale, Justin Mulder.

"Further to the gas sales agreement we entered into with Esso Australia Resources and BHP Billiton Petroleum in May 2013, this agreement continues to strengthen our position, and ensures we are well-placed to meet the changes occurring in the gas market," continued Mr Mulder.

"Lumo Energy has a well-balanced wholesale position, with physical and financial products to support our retail business, ensuring we have the capacity and flexibility to meet our customer's needs at competitive prices."

Lumo Energy is one of Australia's fastest growing energy retailers, supplying gas and electricity to customers in Victoria and New South Wales, and electricity to customers in South Australia and Queensland. The company is focussed on providing competitive energy packages and offering excellent value to its growing customer base.
